We’re supporting Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), the leading charity dedicated to the protection of whales and dolphins.
WDC has had an international presence for over 30 years, with offices in the UK, the USA, Germany and Australia. The preservation of these species is vitally important for our ocean ecosystems, helping to maintain a stable food chain.

Unless healthy populations of whales and dolphins are maintained, other marine animals threaten to overpopulate the oceans and cause a dangerous ecosystem imbalance.

WDC has 4 vital programmes in their fight for the survival of whales and dolphins:

End captivity
Whales and dolphins have a right to live free and healthy lives. These highly intelligent individuals should not suffer for human entertainment.

Stop whaling
Commercial whaling is illegal. And yet, every year, Japan, Norway and Iceland kill around 1,500 whales.

Create healthy seas
Commercial fishing, oil and gas drilling, and shipping are threatening the lives of whales and dolphins.

Prevent deaths in nets
Hundreds of thousands of whales and dolphins are accidentally caught and killed by commercial fishing fleets every year.

A part of the profits from sales in the “Aquatic Creatures by Riccardo Capuzzo” range are donated to WDC, supporting a cause we’re passionate about.
